Question by car_susp: Anxiety attack/panic attack! Help!?
Anxiety attack hit me twice this week. The first time it struck me, I was sent to ER and CT scan, EKG, blood tests were all normal. However, after that attack, I felt my left foot swollen (although not obvious from its appearance). Also I noticed that I got eye floaters sometimes. When anxiety attacked me the second time, my left foot felt heavy and pretty swollen (but again not very obvious from appearance). I was wondering if swollen foot and eye floaters were all the symptoms of anxiety/panic attack? Or I have something else to worry about (like heart disease, diabetes….)? Thanks very much for the help in advance!
Yes, I did feel my left foot swollen big. It’s like my left shoe suddenly becomes tighter. However I don’t have this kind feeling on right foot or both hands. Also the swollen feeling lasted for several hours. How did you make anxiety attack go away forever? Thanks very much for your help!
I was hit by anxiety attack the first time while in office. Second time I was hit while I was working out (suddenly my left foot felt pretty heavy and swollen, then tingling on both side, nauseous….). Doctor did prescribe ATIVAN for me. However, is it safe to take it everyday for a couple of months? Thanks!

I don’t know, but I have a panic attack thing and I also worried about eye floaters… I havent had the foot swollen thing though. do you work out? Here’s my opinion as to what is going on… your anxiety is probably causing you to focus on minor changes happening in your body and it is freaking you out… I’m sure you are fine. You should talk to a dr about getting medication to treat your anxiety.

Question by Edgar: panic/anxiety symptoms?
I’m 19 male, and 6 months ago I had a really bad panic attack, the one that makes you feel like you are dying and can’t breathe and you are about to faint or something, Before that, I had previous panic attacks but they only lasted for a day or two, but now, its everyday, My symptoms are: Feel like i’m going insane/crazy/loosing touch with reality/derealization I guess, Sweaty hands all the time,Over thinking(which causes some of my attacks), chest pain, dizziness, increased and decreased appetite, having weird thoughts like “whats is life” and “whats is my purpose her in life” “why do we exist” “what will happen after I die” you know, these crazy thoughts that are in my head everyday since I had my major panic attacks. I have been to like 3 doctors and 1 psychiatrist, I even once went to the urgent care, and they all say that it is anxiety, and I’m like that’s it? nothing more ? just anxiety? My primary doctor gave me xanax which helps to some extent, and they gave me anti-depressants but not in hell will I take those things, I’ve heard horrible things about them, I sometimes get reiki spiritual help from my brother in law and it helps me relax. My first panic attack was when I was like 16 from smoking weed but I thought that was just a bad trip. But now i feel like im loosing it, like sometimes life seems fake, just a dream. I try to laugh about it when I can but it just comes back out of nowhere, I can be showering and out of nowhere I get this anxiety rush and feel like I’m going to have a panic attack, I think that I have had so many panic attacks, that I can’t even get any more attacks, I just feel like i’m loosing it. Is this normal with anxiety and panic attacks? any recommendations success stories or anything?
and I am sure that I don’t have depression even though I have cried out of desperation, but I want to go out and enjoy life, I want to be with my friends, I laugh, joke about it and have happy feelings and do everything normally but this anxiety just comes out of nowhere and its ruining my life, I know that I am exaggerating and that there are people on the world with serious issues, but I just can’t stand having this anxiety
